Ortlieb’s tried-and-tested waterproof duffel, but 25% lighter

Ortlieb pretty much wrote the book on expedition-grade waterproof duffels. Tough as old boots, we’ve taken them snowshoeing in the Norwegian arctic, on safari in Botswana, and pretty much everywhere in-between. This latest version boasts that same dependable Ortlieb resilience, but in a lightweight PU-coated nylon fabric that shaves 25% off the weight. Access to the interior is via a lockable waterproof zip with a chunky T-pull and jam-protection function, and you’ve also got an external zip pocket for smaller odds and ends. The comfortable backpack straps do double duty as grab handles, or you can remove them completely if you need to streamline the bag for stowage in a roof rack or locker.
