Most ultralight shelters are fairly spartan. The Hornet is different, offering greater comfort and living space on the trail without adding weight. Its minimalist design utilises a single hubbed pole construction for quick set-up. New OSMO fabrics provide weather protection and enhanced performance. As well as being 100% recycled, this fabric is more eco-friendly and 20% stronger than the previous version, with 4 x better water repellency and 3 x less stretch when wet. Triangular corner struts increase the internal volume while shaving grams. Shortened pole segments and a rectangular divvy cube stuff sack ensure it’ll pack easily into almost any rucksack. It all results in a small package that still boasts genuine liveability for two hikers, thanks to its practical twin doors and porches.
