Katadyn haven’t rested on their laurels and the new AC version delivers the same levels of protection with the added benefit of a carbon filter to help reduce any taste from the water source. The easy to clean water filter is effective against microorganisms and microplastics whilst still giving a fast flow rate, allowing you to fill up and keep going. The soft bottle is tough enough to stand up to the trail, but also means you can roll it up and stash it easily when not in use. The 1 Litre version is sized to pack into the side pockets of rucksacks, and comes with a rounded base.
