The elk skin has a little bit more stretch in it than regular cow hide, plus a slightly different texture. They’re cut a bit longer at the cuff, and feature a toasty warm 100g Thinsulate lining for wintry days. These Gjöras are made in the USA, then shipped across to Sweden where the real magic happens. Crud’s finishing process involves an all-natural blend of waxes, oils and fats that gives the leather a distinctive patina, makes it water-resistant, and imparts a delicious scent of Nordic pine.
