This roller variant takes Topo’s popular carry-on global travel backpack and adds a set of heavy-duty wheels and a telescopic trolley handle. Trundle it through the airport like your classic wheely suitcase, then just deploy the removable spacer mesh backpack straps and saddle up. We quite like that the moulded plastic base panel faces outwards, making you look a bit like a Ninja Turtle – which can only be a good thing. Constructed in recycled materials, the global travel pack features plenty of ways to organise your clobber, including various internal compartments and zipped slip pockets on the outside. The 44-litre capacity hits that sweet spot between maximum gear space and carry-on-friendly dimensions, but if you do decide to check it as a hold bag, it’s also fully padded to protect your gear from over-enthusiastic baggage handlers.
