The rain-fly on this lightweight backpacking tent uses NEMO’s very own OSMO performance fabric. Made entirely from recycled synthetics, it holds off rainwater four times longer than standard tent fabrics, and also stretches three times less when it gets wet – all of which gives you serious heavy-weather performance at a weight that’s thru-hiker-friendly. The water-repellent treatment is free from harmful chemicals, and it also meets fire safety standards. Aluminium poles and a mesh/taffeta inner keep the weight down to just 1.37kg for this two-person model, but the designers at NEMO haven’t skimped on the sturdy 68D PU ripstop floor – something you’ll thank them for when it’s still intact after serious trail use. We also like the fact that they’ve given you two doors so you don’t have to start clambering over each other if nature calls in the night.
