It’s also their most compressible synthetic jacket – ideal for cold and damp conditions where a conventional down jacket might not perform so well. The secret is in the lightweight PlumaFill recycled polyester insulation that mimics the structure of down, and in a clever quilted construction that optimises the way it puffs up, even when wet. On the outside, you’ve got an ultralight Pertext Quantum ripstop shell fabric made from recycled fishing nets, with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating that’s free from harmful chemicals. Elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem keep draughts at bay, while the hood is designed to fit under a helmet.
