On the face of it, the Nook is a streamlined and weather-resistant 14-litre day pack with plenty of internal organisation, perfect for commuting and roaming around town. But undo the expansion zips in the back panel, extend the top and deploy the folding ‘kangaroo’ pocket in the base, and suddenly you’ve got a 26-litre travel bag that’ll do you for a weekend trip. Access to the main compartment is via traditional top flap and drawstring, or via a clamshell zip that lets you open it right up for easy packing. A cushioned back panel makes the Nook comfortable to carry even when fully loaded, and there’s also a handy strap and grab handle so you can fit it on top of your wheely suitcase for city breaks. You can even bolt on extra pouches (available separately) using the concealed V-strap attachment point on the front of the pack.
